Brick & Mortar show -
Thursday, February 2nd. Hi all, The February Brick & Mortar Show sponsored by the Spokane
Songwriters Org. will feature artists Kevin Brown and Bill Kostelec

Laddie Ray Mevlin will be our host for the night which will kick off with
a half-hour open-mic (open-mic sign up starts at 6:30). Join us at Chairs
Coffee 113 W. Indiana from 7 to 9 pm. free.
And coming down the road - this year's Get Lit! festival will include an
event featuring 8 Spokane Songwriters Organization members. Songwriters
in the round will take place on Sunday, April 15th from 2 to 5 pm at the
Holy Names Recital Hall.

Thanks to the Spokesman article we've had record audiences for the last 4
months plus lots of new open-mic performers. A little publicity goes a
long way. Please help us continue to spread the word. After all... local
songwriters are artists too!

Bryan Bowers, Caridwen Irvine-Spatz and Greg Spatz will be performing as a trio at a house concert Friday February 17 at 7:30pm, at the Kostelec home in Spokane, WA. Suggested donation is 15$. Bryan is a folk legend and powerhouse singer, autoharp master and storyteller. He will be joined by Greg Spatz, (fiddler for John Reischman and the Jaybirds, bouzouki for Mighty Squirrel, and Spokane Artist of the Year for 2011) and his wife Caridwen Irvine-Spatz for an unforgettable evening of fun and music.
