The 9th Annual Blue Waters Bluegrass Festival has one of the best venues - cool shade and pine trees on the shore of Medical Lake's blue waters and sandy beach. This year's headliner is DAN TYMINSKI and his band and it may be the only time you get to see them this this year as he has signed back on with Allison Krause and cancelled almost all his other solo commitments. August 6-8, 2010 Clatskanie Bluegrass Festival Clatskanie, OR. The Annual Bluegrass Festival draws a collection of local and regional bands and their fans to the Clatskanie City Park, The First Weekend in August. Funded by a grant from the Clatskanie Park and Recreation District, the annual event is organized by former resident Bill Bogan, of Soggy Mountain Festivals and member of the host band, the Southwest Ramblers of Spring Valley, Ariz. Admission to the festival is free and there is a $22 suggested camping donation to stay in the park Wednesday through Sunday. Electricity is an additional $15.
