July 10, 11, & 12th 2009 The Moses Lake Camp 'n' Jam is moving to the St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Ephrata, and will be held on Friday, July 10th through Sunday, July 12th. July 31-August 2, 2009 Bret Bogan Memorial Clatskanie Bluegrass Festival. July 31, Aug 1 & 2, 2009. Clatskanie City Park, 13 miles west of Rainier, Or and 34 miles east of Astoria, OR. Camping is $50.00 for the 5 days beginning Wednesday, July 29. Early arrivals must pay the park for all days PRIOR to Wednesday and must camp outside the grass areas until opened on Wednesday morn. All campers on grassy area msut be removed by Moday, Aug, 3 at 11:00 am. Promoter will not honor any reservations request except what is needed to accommodate a few dedicated volunteers. Electrical hookups are available on a first come, first serve basis, as available. Stage schedules are as follows: Commencing Friday afternoon at 3:30. Band performances until 9:00 pm. Saturday begins at 9:30 am until 9:30 pm, with a dinner break at 5:30. Sunday begins at 10:30 am until 3:00 pm. Bands include Old Circle, Lee Highway, Small Towne, Greenbriar Connection, Fernhill, Whiskey Puppy, Traditional Oldtyme, 2liks2many, Trusting Heart and more. Entrance fees are a "donation" of $12.00 for the weekend of 3 days, with individual fees: Friday $4.00. The Olalla Bluegrass (& beyond) Festival is the annual fundraiser for the Olalla Community Club, a non-profit organization that maintains Olalla Community Hall and gives support to other groups in the small rural community of (you guessed it!) Olalla, Washington. The 2009 OlallaFest is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, and promises, as always, to be a celebration of good family fun, good country food (including our famous homemade berry pies) and music from some of the best acoustic bands in the whole Northwest. We did it last year and had a good turn out. it's in a park, just off 1st ave. next to the civic center. all the camping is free, some with electric. The shows are all free.
